"A colorful abstract depicting a meteor falling. It's basically three parts: blue (tail/hook), yellow (meteor), and orange (streaks to the ground). The meteor sculpture itself is about 15 feet long, and is on top of a large concrete foundation. It is right on Rt. 66, at the intersection of Williamson in Winslow. Just down the street a block away is the corner of the famous "Standing on the Corner in Winslow Arizona". There are several interesting places to stop and visit while in Winslow. This meteor sculpture is one of the more colorful ones to see." Text Source: (
