This commemorative Blue Plaque is located on The Old Corn Mill, on Shrewsbury Road in Shifnal.

The building was first built as a steam corn mill in the 1860’s and later became a brewery. During the First World War it was used to train horses before becoming a warehouse where teas were mixed. More recently it underwent a very successful conversion into a number of flats.
