The cathedral of Breisach is located on a rocky hill from where you have a great view over the town and the surroundings.
This location is south of the cathedral where you can see the southern and eastern parts of town and the hill Eckardsberg with the castle ruin in the south. In the background there is the Black Forest and even some mountains of the Swiss Alps on clear days.
There is another great place just west of the cathedral with a view over the Rhine to France and the Vosges Mountains.
