Formerly the local post office, this small brick building serves as the Gilbert, SC Town Hall.
The population of this town is 500. It was first founded as Lewiedale in the 1890's and gradually the name was changed to Gilbert, SC. This small town grows to a population around 30,000 on July 4th as it is home to the very popular Lexington County Peach Festival.
