Hotel Florida - Habana, Cuba - Antique Hotels on Waymarking.com

Although the building existed 1836, it was only in 1885 that Hotel Florida opened, property of Juan E. Pino and managed by José Dobaño.

It's located in a corner of Obispo, the most trendy street of the city, a short walk to anywhere in central Habana.

Between 1913 and 1916 the hotel was fully renovated, including the addition of the 3rd floor.

In 1946 the hotel was closed and the building became a business center. Only in 1994 the building resumed its usage as a hotel.
