Klein-Frankreich "English: Little France",are the ruins of a medieval slope castle in the southern Palatinate Forest.
How Little France got its unusual name, is still unclear. 1511 was documented mentioned as "Thurm France".

It was designated in 1484 by the knight Hans von Trotha, also popularly known as Hans Trapp, built as an outpost of castle Berwartstein.

In the 17th century it was significantly damaged either during the "Thirty Years War" or in "Pfälzischen Erbfolgekrieg". The restoration of the remains was started in 2005.
