The Norwood Fair has been held annually on the weekend following Canadian Thanksgiving. It is located at the agricultural fairgrounds in the town of Norwood, just south of the Trans Canada Hwy 7.
The first fair was held in 1868, and has been held annually since, with the exception of a 7-year hiatus during the World War 2 years.
The three day fair features livestock exhibits, horse and buggy shows, arts, crafts, food fair, a midway..you name it! Attendance averages around 15-20,000 people on a good weather week end.

Who's at the Fair?: Norwood Agricultural Society sponsors and organizes the event. The Township of Norwood-Asphodel, The Town of Norwood, and the County of Peterborough all contribute, as do several other organizations.
