"Esta pequena capela está situada no distrito de Magdalena, que é acessada através do cruzamento do Tâmega pela Ponte romana. É uma pequena capela de pedra construída no século XVIII, com uma fachada simples, pequeno campanário e uma única nave retangular. Está rodeada por um jardim espaçoso formado entre a Alameda da Galinheira e a rua de San Roque, a margem do rio Tâmega."
