Smokey made an appearance while were motoring through the little town of Noxon, MT, surprisingly.

If he had any sense he would have gotten in out of the rain on that day, as the fire danger was pretty much non-existent and his presence was quite unnecessary. In any event, he steadfastly stands beside his fire danger sign at the side of the Noxon Emergency Services building, just east of the Noxon Fire Hall. Both are along Railroad Road, just east of Third Street.
