The Woodmen marker is in the form of a stump, of course, with a wedge bearing "W.O.W." driven into the top center. On the front is "Dum Tacet Clamat, with "H.B. Steagall" stamped below it. Below his name is "Woodmen of the World," accompanied by the Woodmen tools.
The headstone itself has the family name, "Steagall," with the following inscription:
