The Zilker Zephyr leaves from the station, goes to the end of the track, makes a teardrop loop and comes back on the same track to the station. The train travels through Zilker Park along Barton Creek and the Colorado River.
The Zephyr is open Monday through Sunday from 10AM to 5PM. The Zilker Zephyr leaves every hour on the hour through the week and departs every 30-40 minutes on the weekends, weather permitting.
Visit Instructions:Provide a picture of something with the train or related to the train. Possible photos include the train itself at any location along the route, a picture of the scenery with part of the train in view, the kids borrowing the engineer’s hat or of a family member with one of the miniature r.r. crossing signs.
