Paradishaven (lit. "Paradise Garden") was founded in 1814 to provide testing grounds for different types of trees for the Gisselfeld Estate. It is one of the oldest Arboretums in Denmark.

It has large collection of species, and in some cases the specimens are the largest in Denmark of their type. A very large Sitka spruce is worth mentioning but there are also so,me very large Abies grandis and Thuja plicata.
The garden appears to be currently unmanaged but is fully accesible.
