This carillon is located on the sidewalk of one of the larger streets in Hinterzarten. It was erected in 1990 by the evangelical church that is just around the corner and does not have a bell tower.
The structure with 16 bells and angel decorations is played several times a day. According to a web site, the melodies do change, depending on the season.
