Hickory Inn Cafe - I only stopped to take photos, I was drawn to the Cars truck, with a cow on the back, which I thought was really cool. We were planning on eating in the Midpoint Café, in Adrian, which we did, the food was great, and the owner so friendly, he signed my Route 66 book.
After reading the reviews at: (visit link) I wish I had, gone inside for at least an Iced Tea, and a chat to find out some history about the place.

The Hickory Inn Café web site is incomplete, so no real idea of the history, but there was a posting on facebook, from a lady that worked there as a dishwasher in 1977, so it was active as a restaurant when Route 66 was in its heyday: (visit link)
