Three teenage lads are growing up and apart. Freddie has dreams of bettering himself and takes a job as an insurance salesman. Snork works at the railway station and is longing for a girlfriend. Bruce talks the talk, but is destined to a life of working in a factory, getting drunk and having fights. Only Freddie makes it out. He takes up with his boss’s daughter Julie, who dreams of getting away. They depart out of Cemetery Junction together. Snork, meanwhile manages to chat up the girl from the station buffet. Bruce ends up in front of the telly with his dad.
