Osoyoos, which claims to be the warmest place in Canada (in the summer, at least), is a busy tourist destination in the warmer months, so it follows that the town would have an amusement park...

...which is where Rattlesnake Canyon enters the scene. Built along Highway 3 (5502 Main Street) as it passes through the eastern end of the city, it's a nice, fairly new park with enough to keep the bored entertained for the whole afternoon.

One of the more popular attractions in the park is this climbing wall, made of what must be simulated rock. Given the apparent size of the rocks in the wall, we must assume that they are simulated. The wall itself is 35 feet in height and has five safety ropes, allowing five climbers to scale the wall simultaneously. There are assistants stationed at the wall to inform and assist newbies to the activity (and to catch those who fall?).

Though they have a package deal for $21.95, which entitles one to partake of the Tumble Whirl, Tornado, Bungee Tree, Rock Climbing Wall and the Bumper Boats, climbing the wall alone costs $7.50.
