Návrh vlajky vycházel z historické peceti obce na které je vyobrazen stylizovane dub, jedná se o paralelu k místní dominante a to Dubovému kopci, která oslovila naše predky již v minulých stoletích.
Z hlediska heraldických figur užitých ve vlajce, je listnatý strom symbolem bytí lidského rodu od korenu dávnovekosti až po nove rašící vetve prítomnosti. Dub je znamením síly, vernosti, pevnosti a vytrvalosti. Dochováno je staré prísloví, které ríká, že jednou ranou poražen nebývá.
Prepásaná lilie je užita ve vztahu k zasvecení naši kaplicky. Lilie je symbolem nevinnosti a cistého ušlechtilého smýšlení. Je tvorena tremi nahore delšími a tremi dole kratšími listy. Strední lístek symbolizuje Víru, postranní pak Moudrost a Rytírství.
Barvy praporu respektují základní heraldická pravidla.

The flag was based on the historical seal of the municipality in which is depicted a stylized oak, this is a parallel to the local dominant and oak hill, which addressed our ancestors in previous centuries.
In terms of heraldic figures used in the flag is a deciduous tree being a symbol of the human race from the roots dávnovekosti to newly budding branches presence. Dub is a sign of strength, loyalty, strength and endurance. Preserved is an old proverb which says that one shot is not defeated.
Girded lily is used in relation to the dedication of our chapels. Lily is a symbol of innocence and pure noble sentiments. It consists of three up three down longer and shorter leaves. Secondary ticket symbolizes faith, wisdom and side then Knighthood.
