This little gem of a history museum is well worth consideration since most of the exhibits are much more overall WWII, women's and minority history and the WASPs-related than straight aviation.

While technically an aviation museum, this small museum has done a fantastic job to presenting many WWII artifacts that highlight flight and local WASP pilots. It was greatly impressed by the professional manner in which the artifacts are presented which make this a wonderful teaching museum.
"The Spirit of Flight Center offers a truly unique environment that combines vintage and corporate aviation while promoting the love of flight.
Hundreds of rare aviation items and artifacts are on display in the Spirit of Flight Hall of Honor representing the past, present and future of flight.
Our mission is to save and display aircraft and flight memorabilia to honor all veterans, and to educate the general public on the significance of aviation and aviation history.
