While in principle the entire Edinburgh Castle could be considered a museum, this waymark focusses on the exhibition in its Royal Palace. The Crown Room contains the Honours of Scotland (Scottish Crown Jewels), consisting of the Crown of Scotland, Scepter of Scotland and Sword of State of Scotland. The exhibition also gives information about the Honours' history.
The entry to the exhibition is included in the castle ticket.
At peak times, there are often long queues and waiting times to enter the Crown Room, so consider coming shortly after the opening of the castle if possible.
