J.S Blalock was one of the wealthiest landowners/farmers in Goldville, it was said that he owned the town. He died in Weatherford, TX, on February 26, 1908. Source: Find A Grave
L.W.C. Blalock was the postmaster in Goldville, in 1908. There are several references to L.W.C. Blalock on the internet. They involve bankruptcy and legal proceedings concerning a mill located in Goldville. Source: Southeastern Reporter Vol. 52, American Bankruptcy Report 1903
The crypt's door appears to have once been a horizontal tablet grave marker for both individuals. It is attached to the structure with heavy metal hinges. The crypt itself is made of manufactured block and appear to be much newer than the tablet. (L.W.C. Blalock died in 1943)
