A trout fish hatchery for the mountain area around Kernville, CA in the western Sierra Nevadas. Located right along the Kern River and north of Lake Isabella, this hatchery does have a visitor center and it is staffed with voluteers. No tours of the hatchery are offered. It's open to the public during it's business hours. You must walk down to the fish hatchery tanks from the parking lot located along Sierra highway.
