Creamery Truck is one of the smaller murals in Vernon. Its size does not diminish the workmanship and creativity of the artists. It shows the Okanagan Valley Co-Operative Creamery Assn. logo on the truck. After the creamery moved from Armstrong, area dairymen shipped their milk to Vernon or Salmon Arm. It was a matter of staying in business.

All the murals are well done paying tribute to the artist's talent and creativity for any passersby to enjoy.

The murals are numbered and we will showcase
#17 – Creamery Truck

3111 Coldstream Avenue

H.W. Knight opened the Vernon Creamery in 1920. He already owned the building, so all he needed was the equipment for the production of butter. The truck was a common sight on the rural roads of Vernon.
