The Haywood County Veterans Memorial is located on the southwest corner of the Haywood County Courthouse. The memorial consists of a small granite column sitting atop a granite base. Hands are holding a globe, with an eagle perched on top completes the memorial. Affixed to the granite column is an inscribed plaque. The memorial appears to be the newest memorial on the courthouse grounds. There are several other memorial located nearby including memorial dedicated to veterans of the Civil War, Korea and Vietnam.
