Zippy revisited JAX Truckee Diner and discussed such things as climate change, comb overs and condos sinking into the ocean.
Zippy also visited this place in a similarly drawn strip from Thursday, April 14, 2005.
JAX Truckee Diner is in an original 1940s diner next to Truckee’s downtown railroad tracks. Also known as JAX at the Tracks, they offer decadent comfort food. Dinner entrées range from hearty and satisfying American Kobe Meatloaf or Rosemary Roasted Turkey with Stuffing, to lighter fare like Veggie Parmesan or Pacific King Salmon. Kids of all sizes will love their Burger Buddies or Krinkle Pasta, and they provide Etch-a-Sketches to play with until the meal arrives!
