The Georgia Aquarium is in downtown Atlanta, GA right next to Centennial Park. It is the largest aquarium in the world. Why not be the first aquarium waymarked!

Georgia Aquarium opened on November 23, 2005. At the time it opened, it is the World’s Largest Aquarium. With 8 million gallons of fresh and marine water, and more than 100,000 animals representing 500 species from around the globe, you’re sure to see things you’ve never seen before!

To log this waymark, please stand at the coordinates and have your photo taken. Your photo will look just like the one at the top of this page. You will be standing right at the main entrance. You can also post some photos that you took while inside the aquarium of some of the stars of the show. Have fun!
