This intersection is about three blocks from my house and I've been driving through it for about 25 years. I finally decided to look up the name "Harold Nelson" on the internet, and what comes up is a large article on a famous English illustrator. Harold Nelson was born in May 1871 and died in February 1948. He was mostly known as an illustrator of books and magazines. What facinates me, as a collector of stamps, is the fact that he did a series of English postage stamps in the mid 1920's. His commericial ads were also famous. Harold Nelson was also the Secretary of the of the Art Workers Guild.
