The Chandler Old Spaghetti Factory is known for its decor, which focusses on the industrial and the historical. In keeping with this, in the center of one of their dining rooms is an old trolley car, in which there are six booths for patrons as well as pictures showing the history of trolley cars.
According to the manager, this trolley car is actually an old Portland, OR, trolley car that was disassembled there and shipped to Chandler to be reassembled and displayed in this restaurant. However, the trolley car has been repainted so that it looks like an old Phoenix Street Railway car, with the same colors as that railway (red with white trim). It also sports a sign reading "Phoenix Street Railway" on its side On the front is the number of the car and the route: Phoenix-Chandler. (There was not actually a Phoenix-Chandler route as when the Street Railway ran there was no good system of tracks connecting the two communities, about 15 miles apart, but clearly they wanted to make the car "local.")
