The 60th Parallel Visitors Centre represent the rich cultural heritage
of the Northwest Territories, the beauty and tranquility of
its wildlife and natural spaces, and the vibrancy and diversity
of its communities and people. Honourable Robert R. McLeod has been a Member of the Legislative Assembly of the Northwest Territories since 2007 and was the Minister of Industry, Tourism and Investment at the time of the official opening of the Visitors Centre. Later he became the 12th Premier of the Northwest Territories (

Chief Roy Fabian has been Chief of the K'atl'Odeeche First Nation (
visit link) since June 2009. He has been a Dene (
visit link) Activist most of his life promoting the Dene Traditional Beliefs, Values, Knowledge and Skills.
