This mural depicts some of the history of the Erie Canal as it relates to the canal passing through this quaint little village. It has three seperate scenes, the first scene depicts an early canal boat with passengers, the second scene depicts some of the village structures that were visible from the canal in its earlier days, and the final scene shows a boat going through an early lock. Theres not a lot of color in the mural, but the details are quite accurate. Very nice mural to visit, as you can also see the canal, a still active lock, and lots of very
old buildings in the nearby area.
