The camp Bure is a Celtic oppidum occupies an area of three acres atop the head of Villé. The plate has an elongated shape of three hundred and fifty meters in length for a maximum width of one hundred and twenty meters. It is located five hundred eighty-three meters. Sides north, west and south are very steep and the east side is separated from the rest of the ridge by a constriction of about forty meters wide. The western end of the plateau offers a breathtaking view of the valley of the Meurthe, important communication route since prehistoric times.
Le camp de la Bure est un oppidum celte qui occupe une superficie de trois hectares au sommet de la Tête du Villé. Le plateau a une forme allongée de trois cent cinquante mètres de longueur pour une largeur maximale de cent vingt mètres. Il est situé à cinq cent quatre-vingt trois mètres d'altitude. Les côtés nord, ouest et sud sont très escarpés et le côté est est séparé du reste de la crête par un étranglement d'une quarantaine de mètres de largeur. L'extrémité ouest du plateau offre une vue imprenable sur la vallée de la Meurthe, importante voie de communication depuis la préhistoire.
