The Hollywood Sign can be seen in the strip, in the second box when Zippy is enjoying the view of Griffith Observatory. Mount Lee is home to the Hollywood sign and a very impressive view of all of Los Angeles included parts of Burbank. Mount Lee is also home to the Civil Defense tower which without it, there would be no t.v. shows broadcasted directly from Los Angeles.
