The Sulphur Post Office is located at 1100 W. 2nd Street. The mural is located on the upper wall inside the lobby, and is accessible at all hours, even when the customer window is closed.

The mural was painted by artist, Albert T. Reid, as part of the Treasury Relief Art Program (TRAP) established with a $530,000 grant from the WPA. A major goal of the program was to make art accessible to the general public. Funds were made available to place a mural in at least one post office in each state. The mural designs submitted by artists were to reflect the regional attributes of each site chosen

This painting is oil on canvas and was created in 1939. It shows a stage coach racing along the prairie with its two drivers. Racing alongside the coach is a lone cattle drover, waving his hat and appearing to be in a jovial mood, as he chases a steer and acknowledges the stage coach. All three men depicted appear to be enjoying the encounter.
