This is a nice campground about a mile off of Hwy 410 on the Bumping Lake Road. We like the CG because it's quieter than the CG's on the Lake, but close enough that it's still easy to get there. It's also nice to be closer to 410 so you can access other hiking trails in the area.
The sites are very spacious - the picture only shows about 2/3 of the site that we stayed in - and several are right next to the river. The more private sites are further from the entrance - site #8 and up. Water is available, but you have to pump it yourself. There are outhouses, and a dumpster for trash near the entrance. We enjoyed our stay, although some snotty kids at the site next to us taunted our dog and shot bb guns non stop. They weren't typical campers though - THANK GOODNESS! We saw an equal number of RV's and tents.
