This 'family' obelisk is to be found in the large churchyard of this large, village church. It is next to one of the main pathways through it. Overall about 2.5m tall, it has a square section obelisk with wreath on a square base which has scroll-work in the four pediments at the top of the base. The base is mounted on a two-step chamfered square base on a stone 'floor', and is surrounded by a cast iron fence about 1m high.

I can find no information as to occupation, the only reason I can find for This Family Vault to be here in rural Suffolk is that one Edward Colson, who was the brother of Jabez Ebenezer, is also interred in the Churchyard and in the 1871 census Edward Colson is shown as living in Finningham Road, Walsham Le Willows and is a Retired Shoemaker. He was born in Stowmarket, was aged 77, and was married to Sarah, who was born in Walsham le Willows, and was aged 78.
