Sited in the centre of the village on the corner of Copper Street and Town Street by the post box. Grade Two listed building.
The pinfold is nearly square in shape, the corner on the road is rounded for traffic.
Walls are of brick 8ins thick and standing 8ft high. Corner pillars and buttresses on walls.
The gate opening is 6ft wide with brick gate posts 1ft 4ins square. There is no gate, only a temporary fence.
There was once a small private vegetable garden within the pinfold, but this is now neglected and overgrown.
A plaque on the wall commemorates Queen Victoria's Jubilee 1887.
Approximate dimensions: Nearly square 25ft x 25ft 6ins.
