Three carved doors adorn the entrance facade of the church. The main entrance bears the date of completion of construction of the church, "September 6, 1792" and is topped by a lintel carved stone with the Latin inscription "Munera quaeris rebusque levamen in Arctis ingredere huc patrem rope rogare dei".
Construction of the Late Baroque Eglise de l'Assomption started in the 1765. The works on the church ended in 1792. From 1795 the church is under the patronage of the Assumption of Virgin Mary and opened for worship. The church was elevated to the parish church in 1796.
