The benchmark is where they say it is, and the old bank is on the northeast corner of the intersection of N 1st and E McCart Streets.

DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1946 IN KRUM. AT KRUM, ON THE WEST FACE OF THE FARMERS AND MERCHANTS STATE BANK BUILDING, 1.8 FEET NORTH OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER AND 4.5 FEET ABOVE THE SIDEWALK. A BRONZE DISK STAMPED G 247 1934 739.437 SET VERTICALLY IN A DRILL HOLE IN BRICK WALL.
