This was the third Alberta Wheat Pool Elevator to be built in Magrath and, other than a concrete Buffalo Slope elevator built in 1979, is the only one remaining.

Information on this elevator's heritage hasn't been found, but its appearance indicates that it was possibly built in the early 1930s, though the 1940s or 1950s seem more likely. It has a large annex on the west side. Closed in 2002, it, along with the other three remaining elevators in Magrath are now privately owned by Mr. Ben Walters.
