This stately building served as a bank in the 1940. It was recently converted to a real estate office.
The building appears in historic photographs as Bank of America. It occupies the South-East corner of the intersection of Riley Street and Sutter Street. The address is 601 Sutter Street, Folsom, CA 95630.

The sidewalk in front has a granite memorial embedded in the walkway to commemorate the bank building, which was built in 1920. See photos.

The town of Folsom became a destination for miners and prospectors after the Gold Rush started in 1849. This street also marks the terminus of the Pony Express Trail.
