Interesting geological display, devoted to the erratic boulders typical for this region of North Moravia, you can find in public park Janáckovy sady (Janácek Orchards) in town Nový Jicín.
The display' infopanel, installed in park during January 2014, shows samples of erratic rocks transported to Nový Jicín neighbourhood by continental glacier from Scandinavia (mainly Sweden) ca 500 000 BC. Couple meters from this infopanel with rock samples, description text and map, is located group of large erratic boulders collected in Nový Jicín. These boulders are also called "the oldest ambassadors of Sweden in the Czech Lands". The display is a part of project of Czech National Geoparks - Geopark Podbeskydí.
