The window above the reredos (liturgical E) has brightly-coloured stained glass of 1866. Given by Sir Charles and Lady Abney-Hastings.
The centre light shows John the Baptist telling people of his mission, and above, baptising Christ in the river Jordan, with the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove above Christ's head. In the flanking lights are figures of the four evangelists, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
Between the main panels of all three lights are shields with the heraldry of the Abney-Hastings family.
The manufacturer of the glass is not known, but it could be the work of Lavers and Barraud of London.
