From the Texas historical marker on site, we discover that Cora Frances Jackman was the daughter of a Confederate general. After death of her husband, Cora had Wallace Bros. Lumber Company of Kyle build this two-story residence.

Part of the Rural Properties of Hays County MPS listing.

The home is being maintained in great shape, thus a pleasure to see during a walk around the neighborhood.
