"O Tabernáculo Baptista é um templo protestante localizado na rotunda da Boavista, pertencente à Igreja Baptista do Porto, a mais antiga do país, organizada de forma oficial no dia 20 de Dezembro de 1908. O templo só foi inaugurado alguns anos mais tarde, a 13 de Fevereiro de 1916.
A sua construção foi financiada pelo comerciante inglês Charles Jones, o que influenciou na adoção de uma arquitetura similar à do Tabernáculo Metropolitano de Londres.
O Tabernáculo Baptista também sediou o primeiro seminário baptista português."

"The Tabernacle Baptist is located in the Boavista roundabout, belonging to the Baptist Church of Porto, the country's oldest, organized in a official on December 20, 1908. The temple was inaugurated a few years later, on February 13, 1916.
Its construction was funded by the English trader Charles Jones, which influenced the adoption of an architecture similar to the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London.
The Tabernacle Baptist also hosted the first Portuguese Baptist seminary ."
