One can find a statue of John of Nepomuk, a Czech national Patron Saint, in almost each village of the country. The Baroque one is located in front of Baroque vicarage at an old Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Horní Maršov. According to the Latin chronogram hidden in front sign at pedestal of the statue it comes from 1717. St John of Nepomuk is here typicaly depicted in his priest suit, holding his typical attributes - the Cross and the feather. The cross is located under 400 years old linden tree.
