Rural Shelton Cemetery is somewhat between the cities of Perry and Stillwater, It has about a hundred marked headstones. This is not an abandoned cemetery, but it sure is not maintained very well. The grass is really high and badly in need of a mowing. An entrance gate is on the south side, but the arched entrance with the name of the cemetery is on the east side. There is no designated parking, but the road on the south side of the cemetery leads to a dead end, so that is a great place to park your car.
