THE STATION IS LOCATED 5.7 KM (3.55 MI) SOUTHWEST OF TITUSVILLE, 5.0 KM (3.10 MI) NORTHEAST OF DIAMOND, 4.5 KM (2.80 MI) SOUTH OF HYDETOWN, AT THE TITUSVILLE AIRPORT, ON THE WEST EDGE OF THE SINGLE ASPHALT RUNWAY AT THE SOUTHERN END OF THE RUNWAY. OWNERSHIP--CITY OF TITUSVILLE, C/O AIRPORT MANAGER DENNIS PEDEN, 107 NORTH FRANKLIN STREET, TITUSVILLE PA 16354. PHONE AIRPORT 814-827-9651, HOME 814-827-7139. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JUNCTION OF STATE HIGHWAYS 8 AND 27 ON THE WEST EDGE OF TITUSVILLE, GO SOUTHWEST FOR 5.1 KM (3.15 MI) ON HIGHWAY 27 TO A PAVED SIDE ROAD ON THE LEFT. TURN LEFT AND GO SOUTH FOR 0.7 KM (0.45 MI) ON THE AIRPORT ENTRANCE ROAD TO A PAVED ROAD LEADING WEST OFF OF A TRAFFIC CIRCLE AT THE AIRPORT. TURN RIGHT AND GO WEST FOR 0.1 KM (0.05 MI) ON THE PAVED ROAD AND MAIN CONNECTING TAXIWAY TO THE RUNWAY. TURN LEFT AND GO SOUTH FOR 0.65 MILE TO THE END OF THE RUNWAY AND THE MARK 76.7 FEET WEST OF THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF THE RUNWAY. THE STATION IS A STANDARD NGS CALIBRATION BASELINE DISK SET IN THE TOP OF A ROUND CONCRETE MONUMENT FLUSH WITH THE GROUND. THE DISK IS STAMPED ---DRAKE 1500---.
