Yahk Kingsgate Community Hall is located at 8826 Railway Avenue. Off Hwy. 3 turn north on Railway Avenue, the community hall is down about 500 metres on your left. It does set back from the road, but visable.

Annually, in January, the community hall hosts their Winterfest which include winter sports and other winter activities. It is during this time that the ice rink is created. There are two levels and both can be used for skating. The lower level is designed for pick up hockey during the Winterfest. It continues to be used by local residents for skating, hockey games or just slapping that ole puck around. Of course there is the traditional slipping and sliding and the occasion oops.
We were there in mid-March and the rink was still solid and most likely will continue to be in use for at least a week or so. It is a fairly large area for the size of the community.
