Girl Scout Jennifer Cuaderes developed a project to make warm fleece blankets for sick children at Medical City's Children's Hospital in Dallas. She recruited and organized volunteers, secured materials, and attached to each blanket a personal message of comfort and well wishes for the young patient.

Cuaderes is a member of Girl Scout Troop 2635 of the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas Council.

She received her Gold Award in 2013.
