This large mosaic is behind glass and seems oddly placed in an amusement park. It depicts a coat of arms in a gothic structure which is probably intended to represent a church or palace.
A placard at the site reads:
"Altosterreichishes Staatswappen
which Google translates (with some apparent flaws) as:
"Altosterreichishes Staatswappen
Mosaic of the small coat of arms of k.u.k. Monarchie used matches between 1867 and 1915. From Leopold Forstner, the founder of the Weiner Mosaic School on occasion of Weiner hunting exhibition erictet 1910 at a cost of 20,000 gold crowns."
The Prater is open 24 hours daily.
