Kerry Park, on Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, was given to the city in 1927 by Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sperry Kerry, Sr. so that everyone could enjoy this fabulous view of the City. In 1971 the sculpture "Changing Forms" was added, a gift from Kerry's daughters. The park is tiny but the view is enormous and worth a stop for tourists wanting the quintessential Seattle shot.
The penguin in the after photo was my son's TB that was snuck into the shot. At the time I hadn't thought about a before and after waymark.
Year photo was taken: 1936
